United Smart Helps Independent Resellers Compete with "White Box" File Launch
DEERFIELD, Ill. - Oct. 7, 2011- Adding to its comprehensive product portfolio to help independent resellers compete in the furniture marketplace, United Stationers Furniture Division has introduced a new series of unbranded "white box" vertical files. The new vertical files will afford independent resellers entry to the traditional vertical filing systems product segment. United Stationers Search Adds Cross-Reference Functionality
DEERFIELD, Ill. - October 5, 2011 - United Stationers has added powerful product cross-reference functionality into its United Smart Search capability. Made possible by United’s extensive cross- reference database, the new enhancement enables the display of United Stationers’ products when a user enters another wholesaler’s or retailer’s item number during their search. United Smart Search enables the delivery of United’s product content for nearly 40,000 products to power resellers’ Web storefronts, based on search and navigation requests by end consumers.

United Stationers Associates Named Among Diversity MBA "Top 100"
DEERFIELD, Ill. -- September 30, 2011 -- Two United Stationers associates, Janelle Rampersad and Shelly Flanagan, have been honored by Diversity MBA, a globally distributed magazine focused on leadership, diversity and inclusion practices in corporate America as the magazine's 2011 "Top 100 Under 50 Emerging Leaders." Rampersad, who serves as United Stationers Supply director of category management, technology, and Flanagan, who is general operations manager, Cleveland and Pittsburgh, were both honored with this distinction at an Awards Gala held earlier this month at the Chicago Wyndam Hotel.
